Experience the magic of the Sahara Desert on this 3-day tour from Marrakech to Merzouga. Journey through dramatic mountain landscapes, visit UNESCO Aït Benhaddou, explore rose valleys and lush oases before reaching the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. Ride camels at sunset and sleep under starry desert skies.

Day 1: Marrakech – High Atlas Mountains – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades 330km

Pick up at 08am from hotel

crossing the Tizi N Tichka pass of the High Atlas Mountains(2260m) enjoying the montanous roud and the spectacular Berber villages, to reach to the Unseco world heritage site "Ait
benhaddou village", the fortified ksar with its beautiful Kasbahs.

Ait Benhaddou has served as a natural scenery for many movies producers. You wil go on a walk with a local guide crossing the river to the other side to discover The Ksar and climb to the top of the hill for an amazing view ont he fertile river valley, surrounded by desert, and with the snow capped Atlas mounrtains as a backdrop, the view from the top seems to encompase the whole world; making the ascent through the alleys of Ait-ben-Haddou, which is like rambling through the middle ages.

After Lunch we will continue to Dades Gorge via Ouarzazate and Skoura. Upon arrival to Boumalne Dades, we will diviate into a secondary road to Dades Canyons. From here, we will enjoy beautiful Rocks formation and fortified Kasbahs scenery along the Dades river, with the sunset as a backdrop. After a stop at the canyons for a drink or to admire the majestic scenery, we continue to our hotel. Dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Dades Valley Todra Gorge – Erfoud -Risani -Merzouga 270km

Our Merzouga 3 days 2 nights Desert Tour continues after a traditional Breakfast , taking the road of 1000 kasbahs drive around the colourful Berber villages of the Dades valley, to get to Tineghir a beautiful valley of 15 km of date palms ends up with spectacular Gorges, mainly used for rock climbing.

The road to the Gorge of todghapasses green palmeraies and Berber villages until, 15km along, high walls of pink and grey rock close in around the road, where we go on a trek along the canyons of about 300m high. Afterwards we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara Desert and you will have time for lunch in Tinjdad.

Once you arrive to the dunes of Erg Chebbi, you will take a camel ride for 1 hour, while watching the sunset, to get to the camp in the oasis. Spending the night in the bivouac at Merzouga Sahara dunes under nomadic tents or outside under shooting stars. Play drums with the
camel drivers.

Day 3: Merzouga – Alnif – Tazarine – Agdez – Marrakech 567km

An early wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the highest dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga one of the best moment of Merzouga desert, afterwards you will ride back the camels to the hotel at the foot hills of erg chebbi dunes where you will have a typical breakfast in the hotel followed by shower.

Drive back to Marrakech through Alnif, Tazarine, Draa valley,Agdez and Ouarazazate. In Ourazazate we will have free time for lunch and visit one of the famous Kasbahs Taourirt Kasbah. Afterwards we will continue to Marrakech, where your Merzouga desert tours 3 days / 2 nights ends.

Crossing again the Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages between Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Drop off at your accommodation.
